Hobby I'm looking to pick up in the near future. Been keeping an eye out for a cheap, secondhand Ibanez or Les Paul. Not easy to find as I prefer to play left-handed because I'm a difficult faggot.

I always thought it would be neat to be able to pick uo a guitar and play a few licks, but never bothered putting the time in to learn. With youtube, it’s probably incredibly easy to teach yourself the basics

But I've always wanted to learn the piano, especially after rewatching Groundhog Day. Side note about that movie, his bitch piano teacher takes credit for being his teacher on the final day, even though she only would've taught him for 1 day in her reality.

I fuck with guitars. I've got about 35 guitars/basses. I buy them, swap out the parts for dope shit, then display and play them.
I just finished this project earlier this year, swapping all chrome for gold everything - including the Wilk bridge, locking tuners, and all the screws and plates. Even the Dimarzio pickup (Steve Lukather signature "Transitions") has gold lugs in it. Also decked out with Graphtech saddles, nut, and string tree with matching black volume knob, series/parallel switch, and output jack. All premium internals hand wired in a shielded cavity by yours truly. I don't fuck around.
I've also got a Tele, a few Strats, LP Standard, Danelectro 59, and a FUCK TON of basses.

I been playing since I was in gradeschool but never kept with it. For a starting guitar get a squier or an ibanez gio, though buying online can be a real pain in the ass. I bought 2 guitars this year online and had to send them both back before taking an hour trip to the nearest music store to buy a mexican stratocaster for $800. My friend bought a squier telecaster for $150 that is just as good as mine esp if he switches the pick up.
nowadays there is very little reason to buy an expensive guitar because most of the entry models are made very well. I currently have a epiphone studio deluxe and said stratocaster but my favorite guitar model/shape is a 24 fret ibanez with a tremolo.

What's a decent sounding acoustic guitar that won't break the bank? All of the low end ones I've had seem to fall out of tune in like 10 minutes. Could be because I stink I suppose.

I can honestly say I don't think I've missed a week without playing in the past 20 years. I got addicted to learning everything I could about guitars as a teen and just kept going. The only drag is I can't sing for shit.

I've heard that the tremolo system on the Ibanez Gio, I think it's Floyd Rose, is quite bad (makes the guitar go out of tune) and to get a fixed bridge if you're just starting out. Is that true?
