Yeah that sounds right. Rick probably mis-interpreted kindness for attraction and thought he was a stud. It was probably that hog_mild chick. She probably agreed to meet him at a bar and he took that to mean she wanted to fuck him so he insisted to Niki that they open the marriage. He went out that night and Anica bailed on him, Niki went out and got fucked and continues to have sexual relationships with others. Rick does not. In his stubbornness, he refuses to close the relationship and continues to awkwardly try and fail to get some strange. He fails because girls see through his lies. Also because he's not skinny.
