I was outside dollar general (it's always dollar general) and I picked up a transmorpher (its some tiny thing that dosent actually transform) on the ground outside. It wasn't stolen from the store but I guess it wasn't really mine. Some dumb kid out there is crying because he lost his shitty toy and it's all my fault he'll never get it back.
That’s how I acquired my only goBot

I stole on accident once (forgot to pay) and then realized how easy it was to get away with it. I always thought an alarm would've went off or something, like if the barcode wasn't scanned and then item paid for. But no, it's not that advanced.

The only purpose of a bar code is to identify the item and its price. That's it.. There's no "history" or any information other than the name and price of the thing. Go look at the barcode on any item in any store, it's all the same exact numbers on every individual part of the same thing.

The DBOY realized when he walked out the CVS with some stupid little thing (cologne?) Then he realized... Oh... The alarms at the door are only for items that HAVE alarms attached to them that must be removed on purchase, to signal to the alarm door things.

Like, what the fuck is a Kit Kat bar package going to do? It can't set anything off. There's no database of "items purchased" and "items not yet purchased" that cross references against whatever is in your pocket that it can't detect anyway....

In theory, WE are currently in the wild west but we don't know it. You also have to factor in that most companies discard of their records more often than you think. Stuff you bought a couple years back might not even be in a company's system anymore.

The DMAN remembers when they first started installing those alarm things at pharmacy stores. It made him feel like a prisoner even when he didn't steal.

When I worked at a retail auto parts store in college, I stole all the high dollar sensors and sold them on eBay. I remember the store manager showing me the P&L report and that store had lost thousands of dollars lmao. The company would have come out ahead if they had shut it down.

These days I just pirate old games. Latest I downloaded was GTA5 and Doom 3.

I stole some fat black girl's heart in a sporting goods parking lot a few months ago. She and her friend stopped me and she was begging for my number. She saw me hesitate and offered her number instead. I took it but didn't save it. I went into the store and immediately made a left because that's where what I needed was at. I saw her and her friend walk in and start looking around for me. I hid behind a punching bag and when they walked towards the back I paid real fast and left.

Like 7 or 8 years ago, back when I had a job that paid like shit I stole one of those cheap USB cables to charge a phone. It probably cost 10 bucks and they weren't selling well but I still felt bad over stealing something so unnecessary. But I guess the universe got back at me because the thing only worked twice before never working again.

Learn from Thomas "Smith" Apostle's example. If you're not stealing from the Apple Store, you're swiping knockoff shit.
