I'm not sure I'm on-point tonight, but he's got a very generic accent which is deliberately more common / less posh; he doesn't pronounce the 't's in Jordon Pe'erson... I'm not saying he's posh, but definitely comes from middle class & seems to be playing it down, albeit mildly.
There's no strong regional bent, as is common with middle class folks who want to teach their kids to speak 'proper english'.

Don't know the guy, but just listened to a minute of that interview and I'd agree with your assessment. Sort of Estuary English

why ask for it in the first place. No one is ever going to give you anything good because music is so subjective to time and place. There is stuff people recommended to me that I didn't like until years later when I came about it by myself and it connected to me at that point in time.
