I really don’t know, if you haven’t paid off a house and have 100s of 1000s in hard cash plus more in investments you’re basically fucked.

So many people have been miss sold the promise of social security. It won’t exist much longer, they’re kicking it further down the road like some kind of musical chairs grenade that will have to detonate and destroy some administration eventually.
They’ll either be streets full of that Luigi guy finally doing something about it, or just everyone like me screaming online impotently while we tamely accept digital IDs etc

In the UK where I’m from, the culture is enjoying everyone being poor and destitute and hating anyone successful. They’d rather everyone have nothing than for everybody to have better lives if it means there’s more stark inequality. The reality is the super rich pay for the super poor.
That’s how the US is going, I’ve felt it deteriorating into the same society over the last 15 years. It used to be like night and day.
Even if you retire in good financial health from a life of hard work and careful spending, some retard will be blaming you for their situation. Plus, you have to pay property taxes and basically rent your own property.
It’s a grim future. People have no idea the level of poverty and desperation that’s to come, plus the violence from all of the new imports when the gibs are cut. Crime is already basically legal in many blue states. Theft is encouraged in California.

Young people pay for the social security of old people, that’s how it works. The money isn’t kept in a saving pot for you. It’s already been given to Nancy Pelosi’s husband and African war lords.
Healthy people pay for sick people in Medicaid.
That’s how it works, when we have mostly unhealthy old people and unemployed immigrants, it doesn’t work. The social contract will cease to be.
