I'm a huge Twin Peaks: The Return Fan, but...

The majority of the original Twin Peaks is boring. I like the aesthetic more than the actual show.

Blue Velvet is boring, I like some scenes.

Eraserhead is only good up until the wife leaves.

Mullholland Drive sucks.

How about Inland Empire? I really had to force myself to get through that one and I remember almost nothing from it.

It's not like I hate David Lynch movies. There's a couple that I really like and I think David Lynch himself is interesting as fuck, but I've said here before that I feel like I either don't fully "get it" or that people who claim they do and don't explain it are full of shit because there's nothing to actually get outside of a creepy atmosphere and tone. There's a faggy pretentiousness to a lot of die hard Lynch fans who basically tell me I'm a retard for not loving some unfollowable nonsense that I could just dream. I don't like dreaming for the same reason. My dreams make no fucking sense and jump around. Lost Highway is a good example. How the main character changes actors. That's the type of bullshit that happens in my dreams.
