Jim has no personality of his own despite trying to mold into whatever crowd he’s with at the time. It’s evident in his career now. He has basically 0 links to anyone career or friendship wise and he’s a personality-less worm aside from his weird quirks, faggotry, and etc. His wanting to be remembered shit was so evident even before he got on O&A. He got on because his entire shtick was over the top perversion and obvious lies like women shitting on his chest or fucking his ass. Mid O&A was fake angry Jimmy where he’d fucking BROOOOD about every subject and do his “Nice shirt, stupid” Cellar table shit. End of O&A was all his faggot characters taking up the bulk of his humor. Now that he’s with Sam he has nothing to absorb from.

When Opie got fired, Jim did A Victory Lap and had a party at his apartment. He posted some pics on Twitter or Reddit, I forget which one. Things I noticed:

1) His apartment is a weird museum of memorabilia that nobody gives a shit about

2) He barely has any furniture

3) Nearly everyone at the party were just random people that Jim grabbed that day. In particular, TJ Miller was there and it seemed like he was just trying to be a nice guy to that weirdo on the radio, in case he needed to call in a favor at some point in the future. IIRC, the only person at the party that actually knows Jim IRL was Sam

It just gave off the vibe that Norton never has people at his home, ever, except for the occasional tranny prostitute. And there's no need to buy furniture to accommodate them.

I always figured the weight loss schtick was just a cover story for "Jim Norton got AIDS." He used to make AIDS jokes every single show, and then out of nowhere he stopped joking about it and lost a bunch of weight.

I think there's even a non-zero possibility that Bree Olson got it from Jim Norton. (She fucked Norton without a rubber, then dropped out of porn. Olson said she could have got AIDS from Charlie Sheen, but Norton is way fruitier than Sheen.)
