I don’t see it as much anymore but the “I’m going to tell my kids this was (insert celebrity or product” and the image is of something else that happened recently.

I also roll my eyes when someone says “sportsball” or “Merica”

Loved that movie as a kid. Would watch it two times in a row even. Then when I started getting older, I saw the dorks who would quote it all the time and it made me never want to see it again. Watched it with my wife a year ago and it still holds up, but yeah the nerds have ruined its reputation.

I once met a girl on a dating app that actually used the word “Brah” and not as joke or being goofy. She was dumb so I ghosted her and about a year and half later I saw her again on the same dating app yet this time she was now a newly single mother to some 3 month old. Sadly, that’s not the first time I’ve seen that on dating apps.
