Funny, one of my kids had a thing about going to Red Lobster and Dallas BBQ, I am guessing he saw a bunch of videos or tiktoks of people going there. I tried to explain to him that it wasn't really a place for us, endless clams or whatever seems to draw a certain crowd.

When I finally broke down and took him there after a Saturday baseball game there was a line out the door and everyone was yelling at each other, people trying to park directly behind us got out of their cars and wound up in a fistfight. After I put out name on the list we went out front and tossed a football around while waiting the 45 min. In 10 minutes there was a knock down drag out fight that started in the lobby and rolled its way out into the parking lot taking women and children with it. By the time the cops got there at least 6 people were actively fighting, 3 kids were hurt and there were extensions and fake nails all over the front parking lot. As soon as the cops got there one pair came up to me and the 2nd pair went over to another family who were sitting in their pickup truck, the fight lasted at least 3 more minutes even with the cops there. The female cop made a joke "I bet if we just start firing into the crowd we wouldn't hit an innocent person"

I still haven't eaten in a Red Lobster since college, but at least my kids have a story and a reason why I won't take them there. Dallas BBQ has a similar clientele but I think all of those customers are church types who take their grandmothers out to eat, never had any issues at BBQ.

I wasn't up front in the action but I know how it started. The poor hostess was seating people based on the list, obviously she had to skip over groups of 12 a few times while getting all the 2 tops and 4 tops filled. The members of the large group started yelling about waiting longer than all of those others and tried to stop a group of 4 from taking their table or some shit. I suspect certain communities lack proper math education.

See? Red Lobster rules. Dinner and a show. That's classy. That's foine ass dining.

The pepper in the drink and him getting confused and kissing Tim Meadows are really the only sort of funny things that happen but the big laugh is supposed to be Chris Farley with a big beard doing the boisterous "Thank YOOOOUUUU PEPPER BOYYYYY!" voice. Because isn't that whacky. And as always it's like 10 minutes too long.
