What was up with the Denny Falcone Hate?

Denny was great on air but in the workplace he's an autistic nudge who would pester eveyone constantly for free shit. They talked about him asking people for their home-brought food that they were in the middle of eating and this would apparently happen several times a day. Imagine eating a sandwich and your coworker asks if he can have the other half.

His best appearance IMO was the recap of his awkwardly sexual behavior at the office christmas party. I bet you he's great time but you wouldnt want to work with him.

See if this is true then I get why that knowledge of him would bleed onto the air.

I figure there had to be something else, because otherwise Denny is just a faggot who’s into radio, and everyone on da show hated people who enjoyed the old school of thought.

Then again, they also enjoyed shitting on people for the fun of it with no rhyme or reason, so it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility for that to be the case.

I think also part of it was O&A narcissism and part was playing it up for the radio. I'm pretty sure Ant had Denny dj one of his parties.

Denny appearances were the best in the twilight of OnA. That Dickie Goodman-style bit he did interviewing rappers, all his radio history trivia, his Jocktober history segment. Unfortunately, the boys thought their fake exasperated attitude towards him was felt throughout, and it started to seep into reality. Opie’s passive aggressive attitude towards him, Jim’s fake annoyance when he was mentioned, and Sam’s fake exasperation towards his attitude is now cringe to listen to. As much as I hate to say it, Ant never really seemed to hold any aggression towards him like the rest did. He sometimes genuinely seemed interested in what Denny had to say.

It’s quite telling how all three were into his appearance during 2013’s Jocktober, but once a few simple minded truckers ranted against it, they immediately declared it a failure.

Yup. Sure the absurdity of Jocktober brigades was funny, but it’s a huge window into the listeners’ empty minds when they freak out over not getting a chance to wish miscarriages and fag-drags on random radio jocks.

Sure it was funny, but have some range for Christ’s sake. It really ain’t that hard to breathe through your nose.
