You know what? I have seen that Mario movie and was baffled why none of them even did the fucking voices except Jack Black.
Its infuriating and has deterred me from watching it even though I probably would just to see how it is. The Japanese version has their voice actors actually doing the voices which presents the awkward position of watching it with subtitles on and trying to pretend I'm listening to someone speak Italian when I know it's weebanese.

I watched it with a little kid and I was still like "WHY THE FU- I'm sorry. Why the fuck aren't they doing the fucking voices?"

Netflix just got the ABC show Lost. I forgot how terrible that show was. I just suffered through part of the first season and I looked up that there are 121 episodes. Going to be a brutal slog to probably get even halfway through the show. At least the women on the show are attractive before the 2020s trend of only casting hideous gargoyles.

I've been considering starting it too. But I heard it's a long ass series to get invested in for no payoff. Like isn't the finale famously bad? I just remember sometimes I'd catch parts of it when it was on while I was going to bed when I only had a couple channels and it always seemed kind of cool even though I had no idea what was going on. And Big Jay Oakerson's in it.

It has maybe the worst final season of any show I can think of off the top of my head. And at 120 episodes it's a long time getting there.

I liked the first five seasons, as ridiculous as they were. It felt like they were building a whole mythology that would somehow pay off in the end. Then season six began, and it was a tide of cheap gimmicks, tearjerking faggotry, and that insufferable Jacob nonsense. A few episodes in, it was totally obvious that they weren't building toward anything, and had no idea how to wrap it up. And the finale was an enormous piece of shit, where they actually resorted to using a dog to tug at the ol' heartstrings. They played everyone for saps.

Lost was one of those rare shows that everyone was talking about while it was on and you never heard about again after it ended. This post is the first I've heard anyone bring it up since.

Besides Ben, Kate and a few actors with roles on Hawaii Five-O (because they filmed Lost there), have any of the actors done anything since? The only thing holding that POS show together was a go-nowhere story that paid off as well as a one-fingered jerkoff. Didn't the Jewy writer have to get off Twitter for a while because of all the feedback? Amazing he has any kind of career left in television.

Wednesday, obviously. It's the most watched first season in the streaming era for a reason (Jenna Ortega).

I really like most documentaries, even though there are some stinkers like the Malaysian Plane one. WW2 in Color is great, the Cold War one is very informative, and I liked the 9/11 and Boston Bombing ones as well.

The true crime ones are usually good too if you don't know the case, I watched the Murdaugh one knowing absolutely nothing and what a goddamn ride that was.
I also did attempt to watch Wednesday. I thought it was gay, but it's not for me. I'm absolutely gay for The Addams Family. From the old New Yorker comics to the sitcom to the movies to the low budget Canadian series and they finally lost me at that newer animated one. I still think that every iteration of The Addam's Family has been pretty perfect for what they were going for in the era they were going for it. I also think Luis Guzman is perfect casting for Gomez because he looks exactly like the Gomez that Charles Addams drew.

Lots of shows are like that. Who really talks about Friends anymore? Seinfeld? MASH? Honeymooners? These shows pretty much all die the second that they are off air. Pop culture is about being huge for a minute then being dead forever.

All of the writers are part of that JJ Abrams kike group. So they fail upwards eternally.

I disagree with your first point. I listen to lots of podcasts that reference old sitcoms from time to time but nobody ever talks about Lost. Hell, we talk about each of those TV shows on the forum at least once a month. Lost had the greatest cultural relevancy drop of any television show of the last twenty-five years.

Second point, that's what got the ribs.

I understand subscriptions if you have kids or elderly parents you need to plop in front of the tv for hours on end...but why the fuck would any single man not just grab a vpn and get everything for free?
Unless your VPN is free then you are not getting everything "for free". The cost and ease of streaming or watching stuff on Bluray is easier than piracy at this point as well. Plus you get everything right when it airs without worry of some dogshit pirate stream dying or having to wait for a scene release.

Lost is one of the greats, fuck are you on about.

It's an amazing show and the finale is only thought to be bad by retards who didn't understand it and think that the island was pugatory even though it's explicitly said in the finale that it's not. The finale achieved emotional payoffs that I have never seen another show pull off.

I hear it brought up all the time.

Friends is still enourmous, I think it's usually in the top charts for most streamed shows. Seinfeld is also still big.

I keep it because my parents use it. That's it. I can't even remember the last time I got into anything on Netflix or even fired it up unless a woman is putting it on. Wait, yes I do, that movie with the hand that makes the abbo girl see dead people. Aside from that, the last movie I watched on there was some shit where a fag with a monkey gives a serial killer a ride and it was very literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Outstandingly shitty.

Comedy specials? Stand up comedy is profoundly fucking gay and I'm ashamed I ever liked it. I don't even think that's OnA negativity influencing that either, stand up is retarded and largely unfunny.

Are there any shows worth watching? I watched the Shane Gillis indie youtube show and one with a kid with antlers or some shit. I can't pay any attention to it.

The best streaming service by far is Tubi and it's fucking free.
Dark is a Netflix Original and it's one of the best shows of the 2010s and is often ranked as one of the best shows ever made. Incredibly well written and directed and very complex to the point that some started having to take notes when watching it. Best time travel story that's ever been made.
