A friend of mine was raised by a single mum and her sister when the mum was working. He's a strapping 6'2 guy who's very athletic but he often behaves like a woman. He gets really butt hurt when one of us interrupt one of his rambling, self-involved anecdotes or make fun of his dumb musings. I'm pretty sure it's largely learned behaviour. Where we all had dads who told us "shut up," "I don't want to hear it" or "stop talking so much" this guy was constantly encouraged to waffle on by the women who raised him.
