It happened when I was a boy, wound up using tissues from the garbage can since I wasn't wearing socks. I'm still undecided if that sucked more than the time I had to have my 1-year-old daughter sit on my lap while I took a diuretic shit at the grocery store.

I think you might have forgotten a digit. I have heard several private pilots say that general aviation is on par with riding a motorcycle, which has a 27x higher fatality rate than cars. I got my private license in high school and had a couple of dumbass moments, then went to college to become a professional pilot but realized I was too forgetful even back then and got into trucking instead. I fit in much better with those dumbasses. There are probably a few airplane loads of passengers that owe their lives to me changing my mind.
