Charles Dickens. Not a Christmas Carnage crack either. I've been bored to tears by everything of his I've ever read. The Old Curiousity Shop was particularly dreadful.
His choice of pubs is pretty good though. I have done a few still remaining in London and it's like walking into one of his stories this shows some of it. Just ignore the shitty music

I did think about saying 'being alive' (I'm more succinct than you) but then I realised the sun is shining, I've got everything I need & all is well.

I feel like Stern is overrated, I acknowledge he was a pioneer in his day but his pseudo-sexual stuff became pretty lame once the internet existed. He's not a good interviewer.

Stadium concerts. Massive crowds, crushing traffic, miles of walking, all to watch a bunch of screens because the performer is way, way off in the distance.
That’s how I feel about music festivals. Hot, crowds, long lines for overpriced fried food and beverages. I haven’t been to a major concert in years. I’d rather see my favorite tribute artist at an intimate fruit stand venue.

Taking everything seriously. Specifically relationships, friendships - this idea of "bonding".

There's nothing better than maintaining very few relations with people, outside of family of course - and even then it's probably beneficial to reduce your time with them (unless it's the holidays).

Any time I meet somebody who wants to bond with me all I want is for my fist to get intimate with their face.
