I feel pretty bad for guys that get crippled up thinking theyre doing the right thing. Other than that, couldnt give less of a shit about military men. I wish these people were actually defending our freedoms, then my outlook would be a little different.

No, but I went to a military school and my brother is a high ranking officer in the Army and my dad did some stuff with the 82nd Airborne (around 1957 or so). I almost enlisted like a year before 9/11 (reminds me of the tragedy), but I flaked out on going through with MEPS. I regret that I didn't just bang out 4 or 5 years after HS as it would have been 3-4 years after Desert Storm and a year or two before 9-11-- so basically I would have been paid to push pencils or some shit or an office job.

Actually, scratch that. I guess I regret the idea of not enlisting for a few years, but in reality, I wouldn't have the life I have now (my daughter wouldn't be here). I wouldn't trade that for anything in the world. I like to think my daughter likes being here as well-
