"Now youse can't use dat for evidence..."

I will never forget the look on Fatrick's face. All eight of his chins. His face dropped. All his bravado and confidence was drained right from his fat body. He had reputation for filing frivolous lawsuits, but he knew that instant, he made a fatal mistake. This time he waddled into the wrong courtroom.

His misunderstanding of the law starts with him seeking a legal remedy for his little cyberbullying problem in the first place, without doing anything else.

He thinks any dispute, no matter how retarded, can be taken to the courts, and they'll decide who the bad guy is and punish him. This is what he's thinking when he says "I thought I was going to be heard".

If you have a dispute with someone that has non-legal remedies, then the courts will tell you to exercise them and stop wasting their time. Obviously, not responding to every single person that sends you a text message is a non-legal remedy that Pat has yet to exercise.

What pisses me off about Pat is that forcing someone to spend money and time to defend themselves legally is more of a dick move than anything that anyone has done against him. The worst anyone has done to him is scatter pepperoni on his front steps, which he never talks about for some reason (maybe he ate the evidence, so he had to stage another vandalism). And if they were identified, the cops or judge would just say "knock it off" and move on.
Is there a pic of the pepperoni thing?

I think it's more that he thinks he's the good guy in this movie, and when he walks into court and says "punish them" the court will do his bidding, no questions asked.

And then everyone claps.

He believes he’s the good guy and good guys always win because he thinks the world is just like what he’s seen in tv / movies. He’s pretty much lived on the couch for over a decade and doesn’t interact with people. It’s the same with his tough guy nonsense, he really believes he will have a highly choreographed fight scene with a stlaker while the police wait until he’s done roughing the stlaker up and after he’s said some cool one liner before taking the stlaker away in cuffs. Then the crowd watching Pat dish out his kind of Justice will cheer as the Foo Fighters “my hero” plays as Pat walks off into the sunset
