Watched the new movie “Civil War” last night

The only good thing I’ll say was the use of music from the group Suicide. Not a band that gets used in movies much so I always appreciate that.

The whole film is violent from start to finish but the characters don't intervene or try to change anything or save anyone. Just snap the photo and let the rest of the world discuss it.

It probably helped that the guy who played Escobar on Narcos was the male lead, but it reminded me of the picture of all the DEA agents celebrating around Escobar's corpse. Yeah Escobar was a ruthless drug lord but it still feels weird seeing everyone all smiles around his lifeless body like they just won the little league championship.

Lol yeah, they could at least have made him their boss or a co-worker so they'd have a reason to bring him along apart from "he wants to bum a ride". Kind of has that Wise Magical Negro vibe too.

Yeah he’s their completion to get the best shots yet the fat fuck could barely walk and like I said I don’t remember him even having a camera. All the other press were young and agile yet he’s this fat guy with a cane which was funny. His very high pants was also distracting.

The real truth was that Escobar knew he was close to being captured. So he banged a prostitute then blew his brains out that morning. The CIA and AUC found his body and dragged it into the roof like it was some big firefight.
