There are always going to be asymmetries with every type of rule enforcement for anything. Don't go to court and say...but you let that guy off with house arrest. You argue your case only.

Don't ask your boss for a raise and say, this guy makes more than me. If you want a raise, then point to what you did for the company, you can use industry averages, but pointing at a specific instance will never work. Every situation is inherently nuanced. If you have two children and the rules are the same for the boy as the girl. You're an idiot.

Let's say the ban was unjustified. Pointing at anything else is never going to be the way to make your case. Neither is running somewhere else to have a mental breakdown and rheeeing about being banned from a free website with no ads.

I will listen to criticism, but considering the closest anyone else has come to managing this community was that other forum. That place lasted what, 3 weeks? I'm going to weight all opinions appropriately.
