I read a published study once where they collected the blood tox results for hundreds of women who thought they had been drugged and went to the hospital. It turned out to be something absolutely insane, like >98% IIRC, had absolutely nothing but alcohol in their systems. The conclusion was that different pours, stomach contents, psych medications, etc just caused them to be drunker than they “thought” they should be and they panicked and assumed they were drugged.
