They design multiplayer games to be annoying and negative experiences now, right?

I was a gamer when it was acceptable (ages 9-19) and my first glimpse of new video games was when one of my ex's forced me to watch her play something called Valorant. It was the gayest, most confusing, and biggest waste of time I can ever imagine. It didn't even look fun. The characters just FLY across the screen with zero gravity, you can't even tell what they're doing. They have these stupid ass Taunts your character can do, and she kept doing it over and over thinking I would be impressed and think it's cute, it was the gayest experience i've ever had with a woman.

I just looked up this game again to see a clip and my ramblings are confirmed. The guy in the video says the bullets don't even go where you shoot, according to the target.... So what's the fucking point. It's just random bullshit nonsense.

When World of Warcraft was released there was an article about MMOs survival on having a large enough player base and how to keep them.

It went on about experiments with mice. A button connected to a food dispenser inside the cage the mouse could press. If it has a 1:1 ratio and gets food every time it's pressed, the nouse would only interact with the button when hungry. If the ratio was too large and only dropped food after 20 presses.....it would give up and focus on escaping.

Give the ratio intially 1:1 and the gradually increase it with diminishing returns however....well then you'll have that little fucker pressing the button day and night until it dies.

That's how all games are made now. Rip Star Wars Galaxies.

Ps I'm unaturally good at FPSs. Better than I deserve to be, it's not like I practice. But being good is shite on your own. Join a lobby on my own and I'm on team potatoe half way through a loosing match everyone is abandoning. I have to be in a group.

R6 siege, where I’ve played since launch and my average ELO is about 4000 with a 1.5KD in ranked with 5000 ranked games.

Halo infinite where my Elo is about 1600 with a 1.4KD and 1k games.

I’m not bad and it’s nothing to do with my skill, you are designed to get shit team mates and lose games unless you 5 stack and exploit it and win every match.
lmao your stats are trash, I run 1:25 ELOs and my BTO at 2.5k is over 15.6 with under 50 CHHs per CQ_1. Git gud fgt.
