The music choices were always too on the nose and the covers they chose (especially sung by Katey sagal) were dogshit

There's a scene in the finale during that retarded low-speed chase, where a crow flies by. OK, fine. But then another crow flies by, then another, and another, like Sutter wanted to make sure everyone caught the symbolism there. And it was hilarious.

All those late night shows lean left, but Colbert's show is straight left wing propaganda to the point it's not even a comedy show anymore.

Colbert's sister is like millions in debt to the DEM party for an election she lost. Part of the deal to finance her campaign was basically buying all sorts of influence with her brother's late night show. Hence the constant propaganda.
