I frequently like to remind these cunts that Handmaid’s Tale is based on Islam and is set in CANADA in the original novel. The author seems to forget about that for some reason.

EDIT: also, the actress that plays the main character who is against an oppressive, religious system is in fact an avid Scientologist.

The author is Canadian but it's set in Massachusetts. You know, flaming liberal Massachusetts. Which is another example of why it, the author, and Canadians in general are so dumb.
