Actually he’s just wrong. There are exceptions for rape and incest in the bill, from what I heard. Maybe that’s wrong. Maybe he’s right. But more than one major media outlet has reported that there are exceptions for rape and incest.

I will say this, there shouldn’t be a federal ban on abortion, it should be a states’ rights issue. Every state should be able to decide what they want to do with abortion. I’m sure he has pointed that out, being the classic conservative that he is.
