They are one of those bands that has more bad than good material, but they're good stuff is pretty fawkin good. All Hail West Texas, The Sunset Tree, and Tallahassee are all solid albums. You might find a good song or two on some of the other albums, but the majority of them suck, especially the ones they've put out over the past five years or so.
With all that said, they're fanbase is one of the gayest and most pathetic fans I've ever seen. The kind of people who are so obsessed with a band they will pay to see multiple shows in the same tour. I did actually go to one of their shows when they were in my neck of the woods and the band was alright, but over half of the crowd was masked and would do exaggerated mannerisms to all of the songs including the obscure ones. I left before it was over.
