Ed Kramer was a prominent member of the SFWA. He's been accused, under investigation, arrested and convicted of multiple rapes and sexual assaults of underage boys. He was molesting kids for at least two decades. SFWA members set up a legal defense fund for him in the 90s or 00s.

In the legal defense fund, SFWA members accused the victims of lying and theorized that his arrest was an antisemitic conspiracy.

He created a convention called Dragcon which he used to meet underage boys. The SFWA jokey dubbed those victims Ed Kraner as "Ed's Kids".

Even after his conviction, he was still considered a member and his profile was displayed on the SFWA website. They left his profile up for so long because Dragoncon brought in money to the organization.
