They are so stupid to give video game developers actual power with their rating. Its bad enough players take it personal now they are being used for actual positions. Its the Jets fault for letting this kid get so involved at higher positions and making player moves.WWAWD passing on a 1000 yard WR because his Madden rating isn't high enough
Woody Johnson’s Jets: ‘Madden’ ratings, a lost season and ‘the most dysfunctional place imaginable’
More than 20 people in and around the Jets organization characterized Johnson as an over-involved, impulsive owner.www.nytimes.com
tbf at the time giving this guy $48m for 3 years was a thing only Browns or Jets were going to do, no idea how he's putting these numbers up.

If you call for a fair catch, you can elect to take a free kick at the spot where it's caught. Nobody ever does it because punts are usually so far down field it'd be impossible to make a field goal.Bolts' Dicker makes 1st fair catch kick in 48 years
Taking advantage of an obscure rule, Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker converted the longest fair catch free kick ever recorded in NFL history Thursday night.www.espn.com
I don’t care to understand this but can someone give me a quick take on this?
So what the fuck ia the difference between that and a normal FG? Am i retarded? If you call for a fair catch, you can elect to take a free kick at the spot where it's caught. Nobody ever does it because punts are usually so far down field it'd be impossible to make a field goal.
In this case the fair catch was called, a penalty of 15 yards was assessed against the defense, and the kicker got to try for a field goal because the half was almost over and they figured why not take a shot at it. Think it was only a 57-yarder.
Because it’s a free kick. There’s no snap and no rush from the defense. It’s like the kick you take after a safety. Someone should try to hit a 70 yard field goal like this one time, especially in a place like Denver. So what the fuck ia the difference between that and a normal FG? Am i retarded?
Field goals can be blocked and need to be snapped. Free kicks are just kicked similar to kickoffs but you're eligible to score if you can make a FG from it. It just never comes up.So what the fuck ia the difference between that and a normal FG? Am i retarded?
Only time i remember this is Doug Flutie doing it for the PatsField goals can be blocked and need to be snapped. Free kicks are just kicked similar to kickoffs but you're eligible to score if you can make a FG from it. It just never comes up.
You're not retarded, Harbaugh took 2 time outs because he had to digest the logic and legality of running it so the average shmo could be forgiven
That was actually a drop kick which is a different thing. Still a cool old timey kick thing thoughOnly time i remember this is Doug Flutie doing it for the Pats
