I got a new router from my cable provider and you can't even set the thing up without installing their app on your phone. That fucking rubbed me the wrong way. I should be able to 192.168 my way into it and config it however I want. Faggots.

And fuck self check-out. I was just telling my girl there's no fucking way I'm using it, and if I'm forced to, I'm pinching a few items out of principal. Supermarkets fired a third of their workforce, passed none of the savings on to customers, then immediately started crying about people thieving at self-checkouts. If only there was a system in place that helped eliminate this...

I try to steal two or three cases of water bottles per week from the grocery store. The only reason I do it is not because of money but because the people that man the self checkout never help out older people that need help lifting shit like that. I’m bigger and younger than Joe Cumia so it isn’t a problem for me to life but these lazy assholes will stand there staring off into space while very checkout is flashing for assistance.

Fuck them, “oh sorry I forgot to scan them” or “the cashiers usually add them automatically”. I’m tired of being treated like a criminal while I’m doing an employees job so it has driven me to become a criminal.

When I buy a $40 can of baby formula their shitty technology doesn’t deactivate the RFID alarm tag so I have old women chasing me out of the door after I just spent $250 at your shitty store. You really care that much when you’re making $12.35 after 17 years on the job?

As you guys know, i am an avid gamer, so i got a Playstation 7 at home. The way this machine can and does surveil you is unreal, so i can't recommend you getting one at this point.
It's also the first consumer appliance ever to validate your covid vaccine biochip remotely at home and it can disable the console itself, internet connection, electricity, water and heating. I'm 2 days until i have to get the validation or i will incur automatic penalties as described above. I'm sick of this shit. 37 shoots in and it still doesn't stop you from getting or transmitting this disease.

I only have a smart phone because I need it for work. If I'm ever financially independent, I'll either not use one or just use one for texting.

I really hate needing an app for everything too.

That all said, I think people who own a smartphone but won't own something like Amazon Echo or Google Home have missed the boat. Your phone is already spying on you. They can likely listen to it whenever they want. So if getting a Google Home lets me control my ceiling fan because my toddler keeps hiding the damned remote, it's a small price to pay to have it.

The privacy battle was lost a long time ago. You won't get an amazon echo in your bedroom because they might hear you fuck your wife, meanwhile you put your phone on your nightstand while you're fucking your wife. There's no difference.
