The media is absolutely giddy reporting on this. People were foaming at the mouth for this to happen. 4 years of rooting for a recession, we finally have a correction, and people are rushing to say “I knew it!!!”

I love the people praying for a collapse as if it will benefit them, too. At it's worst, in 2008, the housing market only fell 30%. None of those calling for collapse will be able to afford a house then. In fact, they'll probably be in a worse position relative to the market. That's what collapses are.

Why not Switzerland, Joe? Or Monaco? Norway is one of the most expensive countries to live in in the world. It's also basically impossible for someone like him to get residency there, let alone citizenship, so he wouldn't be entitled to healthcare or any social benefits. I get that it's never going to happen, but how does the fantasy play out in his head? The logistics of it? He thinks he'll sell the bungalow in LI and have enough left over to buy land in Norway lol. Yeah, it's one of the richest countries in the world and, as it isn't a member of the EU, it's able to dictate its own migration policy. It's difficult to gain residency and extremely difficult to gain citizenship. Joe brings nothing to the table and, even if he had a couple of million dollars liquid, which obviously he doesn't, he'd still face an uphill struggle getting allowed to live there.
