I agree that steak sandwiches suck. I’d rather just have the steak. The issue seems to primarily stem from poor quality steak and/or the disparity between the relative force required to chew the steak vs. the rest of the sandwich. I suspect that with some high grade Wagyu a steak sandwich could be amazing. But again we come back to I’d rather just eat the steak on its own if it’s that good. It’s a catch 22.
