Could be the best thing for him. He takes his hundred million and just goes back to doing what already made him the biggest podcast in the country outside of Spotify. Since they’re only a host, don’t contribute to the production of his show and obviously knew what they were buying in the first place, I can’t imagine they had too many safety nets in place unless he personally quit doing the podcast. Rogan is giving them exactly what they paid for. The only thing they would win is the approval of a bunch of nobodies on Twitter who would still bitch they didn’t act fast enough. It also opens them up to having to police every podcast available on there.
Insane times when a company can be pressured into throwing away a $100,000,000 investment in a stoner who primarily talks about who would win in a fight between five chimpanzees and a polar bear because he let some doctors say their opinions. None of that should make any sense.
