He is. That's why it didn't make a ton of sense. He was trying to be frontman Tommy Lee. He put out an album that had that gay hot air balloon song I posted and a cover of Fame by David Bowie that was used in a few movies. He also had some rap rock thing called Methods of Mayhem that was a one hit wonder with the song Get Naked featuring Fred Durst and Lil Kim. The video is the most fantastic display of the type of fucking douche loser was considered cool at the time. I thought this video ruled, this song ruled and Tommy Lee was the fucking man. I was also 10 years old.

Wow that was worse than I thought and Mix Master Mike did a bunch of songs with The Beastie Boys. Talk about a huge fall off. I don’t really like Kid Rock’s music but he was hilarious on Stern trashing Tommy Lee. Dude seems like a huge douchebag. Kid Rock said Lee was broke too (because he doesn’t have any writing credits for the Motley Crue songs).
