He's literally groveling. Next, he'll start with the Gene Simmons-like complaints about how "no one wants to support live music anymore", and how "millennials" and "Gen Z" "killed rock". Because there is no way it's just a matter of no one wanting to pay money to watch an obese, lazy, slovenly jerk play bad cover versions of tired old classic rock songs at the local Moose hall.
So at $20 a ticket, what's Joe's break even point? How much does it cost to rent the Moose hall, maybe a few hundred bucks? I bet he didn't sell any tickets at all.

I’m guessing he splits the tickets and door with the MOOse lodge. So he has to sell a set amount minimum to make it worth doing for them.
