Leftist ideas, yeah. Unfortunately because the right thinks they should play ball with the left despite the fact that they're retarded we get dragged leftward. Most of the right is "fine with gays as long as they keep it to themselves" and think "it's a matter of respect and liberty to allow pagans to live in our lands" and also think freedom of speech is a good idea while also saying "but they shouldn't be able to talk to kids about trannies." or "whatever you do once you're an adult is one thing but kids is too far."

It's untenable. Find me a liberal (meaning has its roots in the enlightenment) democracy older than one hundred years that doesn't allow women to vote or be involved in politics, fags to marry, pagans to worship their devils and idols openly, blasphemy, pornography, etc. etc.

When your starting principle is liberty there's no avoiding it. Freedom is not a virtue but that's what the whole enterprise is built on.
