I charge portable batteries on the 40 min bus journey every day, each seat has two USB ports and charge a bundle in work. I bring in my little stream revenue farm thing(cheap smartphones) to work to use free bandwidth and electricity when I can and try keep using my electricity to only charging my phone and tablet etc.

I know it sounds like loads of hassle for minimum savings but over time it adds up... And Europe energy prices are after shooting up so...
I managed to get a job lot of portable batteries from AliExpress, 15 for 112€ using split cables I usually charge 4 on my way to work every day and the rest in work. All the shit like phones, tablets,laptop, my electric shaver, led lights we have around, double AA rechargeable batteries and with a plug outlet for the batteries, even things like our blender&sandwich maker, her hair tools etc can be used.
It's already after making enough savings to pay for the batteries months ago. Let alone what the farm is making.

You can also walk around town with a shopping cart and pick up bottles and cans you see lying around and sell them to a recycling place for a few pennies.

I’d actively pay extra on my utilities to not have to do any of that. Also I won’t be getting a bus anytime soon, unless my life goes drastically wrong, in which case I’d rather a Kurt Cobain style shotgun mouthwash.

I have a nice enough car(Ford Puma) and I cycle a hell of a lot but it costs me a flat 2€ for the fare. And using any other bus or LUAS is free within 90 mins of first tag on.
Roughly a 6 min walk to get to my bus stop, 2 mins to work and using bus lanes(only taxis and busses can use) I turn a pain in the arse journey to work with traffic and a convoluted route driving to a cheap journey to get free data and leccy.

I'll drive if I need to do something after or whatever, taking the Ferry to UK to drive to Cornwall for a gig in June for example. It just makes sense to get the bus for work . I also don't NEED to do any of this charging and all,
I've a full time job, part time fitness instructor and still make € doing editing and shit.Missus full time job and fitness classes on the side too, makes a good bit on OF also.

I spent a dozen years wasting my money and life as an injecting junkie and been in and out of prison for a lot of years too. I'm 40 in just under 3 years and I want to catch up as much as I can. I have my own house but it's old and I need to get new windows and get the whole boiler and gas heating system rehauled. Fiir starters.
If I save a few euro daily by bringing a few batteries and phones in my backpack, save on toll bridge fare and petrol by getting bus then fuck it mate I'll do it!
