First, this tour will go on until 2025. You will have plenty of time to see them.

Second, this is The Don Henley Band & Friends, yet they have the balls to charge a premium price for tickets like its the actual Eagles. Without Don Felder they are an adult contemporary band, not a rock band. Without Glenn Frey (RIP) one third of the show is sung by karaoke singers.

Third, anyone who spends an amount of money on a pair of concert tickets that could feed a village in Uganda for a month, is fucked in the head. Third.5, even after you get past concert tickets that cost literally THOUSANDS of dollars and have the balls to charge $350 for nose bleed seats at the opposite end of the arena is just flat out greed.

My vote is ....... Go do your karate.......

While I would have liked to see Glen, they’ve got his kid filling in, so I feel like that’s as close as you can get.

You are correct about Felder.

All that being said I think it’s probably personally worth the thousands of dollars to go hear Peaceful Easy Feeling and Take it To The Limit live

One other thought with this, if you have seen the Eagles live at any point since 1994 you have seen - probably - 95% and maybe even 100% of the set they will be playing over the next three years. Its not like they're working up a new version of Good Day in Hell or Midnight Flyer to play just at your show. And guess what ..... I Cant't Tell You Why sounds exactly like it did on the record, and exactly the same way it did on the live album they put out in 1980 and exactly the same way it does on the four or five live audio and video releases they've put out over the last 30 years.

And if you saw it already, you did so at a MUCH more reasonable price AND saw the actual band (with Glenn Frey and/or Don Felder).

The last six or seven years since Frey died has been one big greedy, cash grab, rip off ..... in my opinion. And to be clear, I say all this as one of the biggest fans the Eagles ever had.

Henley is in the band so I automatically assume “greedy, cash grab, rip off” by default.

My big thing is that I’ve never seen the Eagles. I could never afford to / always put it off / schedules clashed etc.

Prince, Frey, Petty, and then McVie dying have put a major foot in my ass to see the bands I love as soon as I can in whatever their current incarnation is because they will all be dead soon.

As much as Henley is a sccccccccumbag, if he dies, I’ll be furious that I didn’t go to this tour.

......... Well when you put it THAT way ......,

I've seen them many times over the years, but not since 2010. A Felder-less version of the band just disappointed me. Can't imagine a Frey-less version.

But if you have not seen them, go. Sonically it will be one of the and maybe the best *sounding* concert you will ever go to.
