I love this band, and Marie Fredrikssen was probably my first ever crush.

That said, this ballad holds up extremely well in my opinion, and is still effective at making me "feel" it. The emotions in Marie's voice really helps put over what could have been in lesser hands a corny, shmaltzy and ultimately forgettable song.

Another classic that gets to your soul, and successfully evokes a place, a time, environment and a feeling. They just don't write songs like that anymore.

This is a beautiful, haunting rendition of a love that transcends time.
