No real monster but, the one movie that scared the crap out of me, to the point I had to watch it in 20 minute blocks over several days was The Devil's Rejects.

The randomness of violence and the whole "you can live a quiet normal life but if you cross paths with the wrong people at the wrong time, things can get real fucked up" just consumed me while watching. Seriously had to punch out about every 20 minutes or so.

K just watched. I don't get it. It's a god but he was able to shoot and stab it and he got away? Monster had a cool design, but it wasn't that scary.
Thanks Doug, I had it on my lazy Sunday viewing list, but a god being injured by a gun shot? Can't do it.

I'm watching The Shield now. It's very good.
I watched it years after it came out, and while I appreciated it...It also drove me crazy. I really wish "The money train" wasn't a thing.

Scary movies are all about your age.

Honestly, I remember Gremlins being pretty scary when I was a young, molestable little ankle biter.

Now, of course, I can see it's a comedy. There's even a trans gremlin ffs.
