I hate the whole “press conference” they have now for post wresting events. I know It’s scripted entertainment and all but it just seems silly. Usually answering for whatever happened on a PPV like this would be part of why people watch the next show (Raw, Smackdown, etc)

Yeah I think that’s where it came from - they only started doing it a couple years ago but makes sense since the UFC / WWE are owned by the same company. I had heard Shane pitched that and Vince said something like “you wanna buy them you should do it with your own money but you don’t have enough and I’m not giving you any” I’m sure Vince of course regretted passing on buying the UFC early and has hated Shane ever since because Vince holds the dumbest grudges and can’t let anything go. Just look at how he treated Dusty Rhodes and even Dusty’s son by giving him the bisexual Goldust character. Also naming Ted DiBiase’s black servant “Virgil” which was Dusty’s real first name.

I’m into it but I’m not a Sam Roberts - I don’t watch it every week or follow the storylines - I always was just interested in the business of it.
Just this week my Dad ended up playing golf with one of their camera guys and I was interested in hearing what a typical schedule is for a WWE live event crew member - guy was 27/28 and got to travel every week - his work week is Thursday to Monday with tues / wed off (Thursday and Sunday being travel days) and then back on the road Thursday to wherever they are next. Def a cool job for a young guy without kids and I’m sure a great experience.
To me that kind of stuff is more interesting than the show itself since it’s a giant year long traveling performance.
Edit - I know say “interesting” again, stupid.
