That's not the norm for abortion, that's the exception. There's no "scourge" of your hypothetical.

Ideally, you have responsible people who have savings and if they want kids, they have those savings for any kind of outcome; positive or negative. I understand that Americans and others have a bullshit income tax: fine. But, relying on the state means you're giving up on a right somewhere down the line. I hate to sound libertarian about it, but if you want the state to solve your problems, then don't complain about anything.

In this world, women actually argue that tampons should be free because it's not their choice to menstruate, but they'll blow their money on fucking anything. If people want government dependence and they're not in some weird niche group (merely getting pregnant doesn't count) they can fuck off and go straight to wherever Dan is right now.
