So author Dan Savage was responsible for the "It Gets Better" campaign, I think like 10 or so years ago now. A fairly noble intention, in that it was just attempting to reach out to the gay/confused kids in small towns across America to "hang in there...you'll be out of your small town soon enough", while also preaching the fact that when you're older; you'll be able to exercise more autonomy insofar as what kind of people you chose to associate with and why. Not a perfect campaign but certainly better than what we have now, which is comprised of post-marxist who have no intention of normalizing homosexuality, no want or desire to see those gay kids happy and fulfilled (because as Adorno has pointed out: You can't be happy because then you'll be complacent, and when you're complacent you're not a revolutionary, etc etc...), and who would rather use those same confused gay kids as political ammo, changing out the magazine every so often, when they either become happy and old or when they just stop spouting "The Message". Or both. You're supposed to deconstruct the family unit; not actually have a family of your own!

It is different this time. I'll admit: This could've certainly worked in the Dems favor IF Inflation, energy prices, potential food shortages and a recession (tempered with the threat of nuclear war with Russia), wasn't also on the fucking table at the same time.
The first and biggest priority that anyone will ever vote for is food on the table, gas (or whatever) in their car, clothes on their backs and a roof over their heads. The Dems are ACTIVELY fucking with this, by not addressing these issues outright, while deflecting with Abortion and Gun Laws. Why do they think they can just keep tamping this down without it exploding in their faces?

Back over a decade ago when he was just a bumbling VP Biden told a group of majority black people in that Romney was gonna “put them back in chains!” If Mitt won. They know they have nothing to offer and no idea how to solve all the problems they’ve caused so it’s back to the old fear vote. You’ve got people like piggy claiming segregation will come back and gays will be chased with pitchforks if you don’t vote democrat. Dems knew they were fucked with midterms and now are using this as a Hail Mary to stay in power because that’s all they’ve ever wanted. Never cared about the people, just their votes so they can be in power.
(Note: The Right does this too with threats of the left coming to take their guns etc. but the Dems really go “end of the world” when it comes to fear voting)

I really think the Jan 6 hearings will barely be talked about on the news, probably even move the hearings to CSPAN or some other cable channel instead of nbc, abc, and cbs. They tried to make a thing in hopes of “see how bad republicans are!” Because the Dems we’re gonna get killed in the midterms but now they will focus on this and fear voting. Less than 2 hours after the announcement you had democrats floating the “gay people will lose rights and marriage” and “blacks people will go back to slaves” nonsense that they always do when they need votes.
Democrats know they’ve made things so much worse and have no plan to fix it. Before this ruining Dems we’re pretty much telling everyone it’s not getting better anytime soon and gas will stay high, recession is likely, etc. and we’re blaming it on Putin yet people know this shit was happening long before Putin. Their current plan for mid terms is “things are bad and they’re not getting better but if you don’t vote for us again it will get worse”
