This mentality says a lot about Pat though, he doesn't really give a shit about what he pushes out, he just wants the fame & fortune that comes with it. He wants to be a successful intellectual so badly, but just doesn't have the talent or intellect for it.

Patrick has even said so himself.

He wanted to become famous. Not write books because he loves to do it and put special attention into their creation... oh no.

I feel the same way about his Twitter persona. Patrick has no core; no personality, no center, no moral fiber, no character. He doesn't have a personal point of view or ideology. The only reason that he tweets the speaking points of a fringe Leftist is because that is what was fashionable at the time. If the cultural winds continue to change, it will be interesting to see if he can adapt.
