Mayr is a bumbling doofus who went to a non-accredited or whatever law school, has his business address out of his condo, and he somehow managed to pass the CA Bar? I'd love to follow him on Zoom from courtroom to courtroom.
You can take it as many times as you want. The results aren't public but if you check the date of his JD and compare to his bar number or his esquire date you can determine how many attempts he made.

So if he graduated in 2005 and didn't practice until 2007 he probably had 3 or 4 failures. There's two test per year in California.

I wonder what Resto's win rate is when people actually contest.
I suspect zero. I Googled his name once and found comments on websites that were years old where he replied to someone saying that he was retained as counsel to a person being disparaged in the comment, and he instructed the person to remove that comment. Years later, they had not. He's all bark and no bite.

That definitely makes the company look good, having some rebuttal to a negative review that does not address any of the customer complaints and just says "we will sue you".

His whole field of "law" is just SLAAP bullshit. It's all about scaring people into taking shit down. For every successful internet defamation suit, there's a million comments that aren't going anywhere. It's such a toothless threat.

What would you do for a Klondike bar?

I believe in the past you've also mentioned listing Quasi as Doe No. 1 - meaning he gets Krinsky protection unless Pat can prove he said something defamatory (which he hadn't) - as a mistake; as well as Brinton including screenshots in one of their sworn declarations that could only have been obtained illegally (which would have come up if it came to actual court). And why the fuck did he launch the case in Wisconsin, claiming that most of the defendants lived there, when its obvious that we don't and that all of the action is in California? Why fight that unnecessary battle, other than to line Brinton's pockets as (unlike California) he's able to appear in Wisconsin?

I think at the very least Patrick should put in a couple of complaints with the appropriate bar associations. At least that way he'll have the satisfaction of seeing professional sanctions applied; maybe even get some of his money back.

The more I think about it the more I think Pat probably won't go too far with the malpractice angle. The only way that angle can work is if he accepts his lawsuit was a dud from the beginning. You can't argue that it was a brilliant strategy and expect to win a malpractice suit. However I think he pushed his lawyers to go with this angle, and not the other way around.

They are claiming tortious interference. This has been litigated already and laughed out of court.
1. Tomlinson doesn't have a business relationship with twitter
2. Even if he did, its not a tort to report actual violations.
3. Even if it were, he can't prove who submitted which reports.

Thank you @notalawyer . If you someday take an interest in a legal career I think you’d be great at it. Handsome, smart, and a Patposter? You’re treading on Peña ground!
