The culmination of that was what made me realize we were never going to get OnA Norton again. He said that she quit because Dave was uncomfortable with it or some shit and talked shit about him. It was funny he called him ac noise or some shit like that. Then one day he just says that they resolved it off-air and that they were good now, never talked about it again.

I could be remembering it wrong, it’s been years obviously. I remember it Norton misunderstanding everything and being an emotional retard about it. Probably because he wanted to fuck her. All of Jim's shitty alter-egos are clearly the result of his awful rape-filled childhood. I still think some of his Uncle Paul "haah?"s and bits are funny, but knowing their source I feel kinda bad for Jim. Not that bad, he is probably a rapist and definitely overripe for culling, but he was an innocent at one point.

As I remember Lauren quit right before a Chip show and gave close to zero notice which angered Jim because people keep doing this to him for some reason (DL Hughley). Apparently Dave didn't want her doing the show because there was something about Jim asking to meet her for dinner to "plan the next show". Jim had a hissy fit on air and mocked Dave for having 100 views on his YouTube channel and for being a hack political comedian. Jim came out of it looking worse partly for punching down and partly because everyone just laughed at him on LoS for being a loser. Nobody cared.

This is what really makes Norton look weak; he used the waning power/influence of his show to attack Dave and his fiance. Dave's a faggot, but that right there is an excellent example of why Norton hit a wall professionally.
You can be cruel like that when you're on top, but you can't big time people when your show is declining the way his was. In the old days, Dave's social media would've been bogged down by rape threats, gay porn, and propaganda for the losing side of WWII. During the Lauren situation? Nothing.
