But in those cases he's presenting facts (or distorted versions of them) in a way that makes him look like an innocent victim. I think his sense of reality is actually a product of what he wants to believe and how he wants to be perceived.

Think about his "it was a lie, of course, which she continues to tell to this day" line from his blog about "the monster". Yeah, your ex-wife is totally lying about not loving or respecting you even though her actions in the decade since back that up completely.

He just deploys whatever version of reality is consistent with the situation he wants to be in.
