Played Prey in 2006

I never played any of the games in this series, I think there were 2 or 3. Is it worth going back?
It's not really a series. Prey 2006 came out, and it was a neat fps where you played an injun abducted by aliens. Prey 2 was cancelled but you were going to play a alien bounty hunter or something. The most recent Prey has nothing to do with the other ones. Bethesda owned the IP and they didn't want the game to be called Psycho Shock as it was inspired by System Shock.

So is the original worth playing? Sounds just like this movie I saw, Prey (2022)
