Pat often claims to be an expert about health care because he actually worked in the field. He sold insurance, though, and therefore did not work in health care, but let's ignore that right now and try to get a timeline going for Pat's career.
Looks like his career began in 2002:
Then he "took off five straight years" to work on his first book, which was published in 2015. So, working backwards, he quit in 2010. Pat's career in "healthcare" lasted from 2002-2010:
He survived those five years from 2010-2015 because of his "renewal income":
Uhhh, but wait. In 2020, he claimed he has "been in healthcare for 15 years now".
So let's revise the timeline, then. 2005-2020? I guess he wasn't in healthcare from 2002-2005, and I guess he never quit in 2010?
Hmm, wait. So he did "quit [his] office job"? Now, I'm confused. He just claimed that he was still selling insurance in 2020. So did he quit or not? If he did quit, when did he do it?
Ok, cool. Some clarity from a tweet in 2017. He held his previous job until his "first book was published two years ago", ie, 2015. We lost the years 2002-2005, but we've re-gained 2010-2015. New timeline 2005-2015. Glad we cleared that up!
Wait, what the fuck? As of 2020, he's been selling for 15 years? Alright, fine. He's back to 2005-2020 and he never quit to pursue his writing career.
Tweet from 2019, been in for 15 years. Fuck it, new timeline: 2004-2019.
FUCK. Tweet from 2017, "fifteen years experience". Health care career 2002-2017.
Tweet from 2020, claims his full time job for the last five years is writing. NEW timeline: 2002-2015.
Fuck it. I give up.
