In Asia its common to pay a psych eval company who guarantee to declare a student dyslexic so dumb rich kids get an extra hour on all their exams and added reading material to take in with them. Schools can grant a conceded pass and override grades on appeal for cases too where the school let down a student (usually because a teacher quit and there was no replacement, graded coursework lost etc) so this happens more often than you think. Also explains why his mom decided to work at the school.

Newcomer to the American education system. Apparently Wisconsin requires a minimum of 23 credits to graduate. I have no idea what that means. I'm also seeing a 2.0 gpa is a requirement lol. He also never had a hope in hell of going to a college like University of Wisconsin-Madison which asks for minimum of 3.5. I started this thread as a joke but this motherfucker actually didn't finish high school in all likelihood.

I'm a few years younger than Pat, and the 2.0 GPA requirement was added when I was in high school. I remember when Bush was in office there was a big push to standardize everything so that kids wouldn't graduate high school without knowing how to read. I think Pat benefitted from the lack of standards before that and was able to scrape by with Ds.
