No idea if they’re part of this but the Chinese and Russians have absolutely done shit like that beforeit'd be one thing if there was any evidence of proof to his wildly retarded claim
Like I was always confused about those 'be the generation to quit smoking' ads. They're selling me against something, so whatre they actually trying to sell me without mentioning? Vapes? Weed?
In Fat's case, they're trying to sell... "unhealthiness" and "deadly virus" but at what end? He's retarded
They didn’t take down the tobacco industry. In fact in many ways they helped. The negative press from this never hurt larger brands, it discouraged smaller brands from growing. More importantly though people were already quitting smoking. The graph decreases over time as we discover more. Think about how much people drank 100 years ago vs now. People have naturally moved away. That and as you said vaping. No idea how much the tobacco companies have in that but it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t have a hunk. Point being no one quit smoking because of a commercial or because they were told it’s not good for them by a famous person or “authority figure”. Just natural progression. Never mind that’s not true. I didn’t do meth because that one bitch broke an egg with a pan. Disregard.Ya gotta admit, the anti-smoking coalition or whatever did a pretty damn good job considering how prevalent cigarette smoking was a few decades ago. They really had Big Tobacco on the ropes until vaping came along and they could sell Cotton Candy flavored pens to middle schoolers.
All the shady corporate shit is probably true, but you need some sharks in the tank to take down the fucking Tobacco industry in America.
I think what brought smoking down the most was they’ve made it so you pretty much can’t smoke anywhere. I remember when restaurants had smoking sections and not that long ago you could smoke in bars. There’s workplaces now that you pretty much have to leave the property to smoke. They didn’t take down the tobacco industry. In fact in many ways they helped. Don’t totally disagree but the trend was already down. We tend to remember stuff like this like it was more rampant than it was. If you think about it people were ok with business rights being taken away because a lot of people weren’t smoking so they didn’t care or were for it. It’s sad because it’s a very iconic American thing. I’ll have a few when I’m drinking sometimes but you feel like the odd one out if you do. Those anti smoking companies did nothing more than dare does to stop kids from smoking pot or stealing their liquor. We learn shits bad for us so most of us stop.I think what brought smoking down the most was they’ve made it so you pretty much can’t smoke anywhere. I think it was around 21 years ago when States started banning restaurant smoking. It’s crazy to think you used to even be able to smoke on airplanes and cars all had cigarette lighters / ash trays.Don’t totally disagree but the trend was already down. There’s still some countries where you can smoke on flights I think. I’ve also been to a few hotels that had a smoking room still. It’s a shame faggots have made it so bars have to be clean and safe. Smoking really set the atmosphere. Watch any old movie compared to now it just looks wrong without people smoking in a bar.I think it was around 21 years ago when States started banning restaurant smoking. I'm ignorant on this: is it not true that the unvaccinated are where the variants start and spread? I'll hang up and take my answer off the line. When the vaccines don’t protect people, because viruses naturally mutate to spread - which is completely normal - they’ll double down on this complete bullshit that the unvaxxed are to blame.
People should be more concerned with taking control of their own health so the virus doesn’t really effect them. Plus maybe some rage at the Chinese lab that created the virus and the American fauci funded research that helped create it. That will never happen though, it’s muh evil anti vaxxers fault I’m at risk because I’m fat.
It’s not true, it’s spreads amongst both the same, the vaccine just gives you more protection when you get it.I'm ignorant on this: is it not true that the unvaccinated are where the variants start and spread? I'll hang up and take my answer off the line.
Yeah some hotels still do it, I think casinos might be the only place you can still smoke inside. Watch any movie from the 70s / 80s and the smoking really stands out. Now if there’s smoking in a movie it gets listed in why the movie is rated pg or pg-13, like “mild violence, language, historical smoking”There’s still some countries where you can smoke on flights I think.
