Hilarious that Fatty Cakes is trying to pass this off as some kind of profound revelation when it is literally over 100 years old. The first "atomic" scientists were talking about this shit at the turn of the 20th century. No scientist on earth "separates physics and chemistry" and none have in a century.

Normal, prescribed chemical reactions are indistinguishable from (what us idiots call) life. So for example, wind is alive. Clouds, rain, snow, oceans, tidal currents - all alive according to Patrick. That raindrop was up in the sky, now it is down on the ground, therefore it is alive.

basically he's saying that in the presence of the right chemicals which create certain reactions eventually life will result. Not exactly some mindblowing concept, despite his trying to make it sound smarter than it really is. But then Pigman probably couldn't really support the theory of abiogenesis, having no real in depth understanding of science.

In my former life, I was a social engineer- I think it's still pretty easy. I'm just not sure what the penalty is and if they would actually bother prosecuting you if you were out of state.

Imagine how much it bothers him that his little brother is an actual smart guy with a PHD. I bet he just lets Rick prattle on while he nods along and tells himself he only needs to listen to this once or twice a year.

I'd like to propose a different theory. When he's around Mama Raven's second, better son, he is probably meek and more quiet than usual. He's known his whole life that his little brother was better than him, smarter than him, and destined to be more successful than him. Heck, that's probably where half of these insecurities and overcompensating behaviors come from. So when they're in the same room, P@t only talks smart about shit he knows his brother knows (and cares) little about, like The Foo Fighters, Tom Cruise movies, attacking tanks with paint, etc.
