Every single O&A intern was a spastic maniac and low IQ dolt. By the end of the show they had Ladi Di as an intern. Erock and Sam were basically told to pick the absolute WORST interns possible. Lazy, insane, ugly, and school shooter levels of social interaction. They had a blind intern even. A huge amount of interns quit or were fired. There were once so many problems with interns that management forced interns off air and then eventually took interns away from the show for a year or two.

Nearly all O&A interns had zero success in radio or show business. Most work in areas way outside of radio or entertainment. And none of them want their names associated with O&A. Some of them will still try to scrub their O&A appearances from the internet to this day.
If I recall correctly their intern program was suspended because Travis kicked Blind Stevie in the balls off air and Stevie brought it up on air. The next day their were no interns and when they reinstated the program Erock had to follow them around to make sure they weren't harmed.
Stevie, along with a former Howard intern later sued and SXM no longer has unpaid interns.

Ha, a former Stern intern's suit got at least 1,800 former interns a share of a $1M settlement: https://www.reuters.com/article/sir...lawsuit-for-1-3-million-idUSL1N10E1HT20150803

Sirius XM Radio Inc has agreed to pay up to $1.3 million to settle claims that it violated U.S. labor laws by not paying interns, making the satellite radio provider the latest large company to settle such a case.

The plaintiffs, who worked on the Howard Stern Show and other Sirius projects, claimed they worked up to 40 hours per week and were not paid, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York state’s minimum wage law.
The case is Vitetta v. Sirius XM Radio Inc, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, No. 14-cv-2926.
Edit: O&A's Intern Matt joined the class action lawsuit and got $5,000:
